Create Live Action Mini Films

So here is my Panasonic HDC-SD90K review. Whether you like creating live action mini films, capturing candid moments, or compiling an impressive collection of home videos, one thing’s for sure; you need a good quality and reliable camcorder. Personally, I do all of the above. Capturing footage is one of my favorite hobbies and past times. There’s just so much you can do with a good video image, especially if you’re a master editor. I had a good run with my old Toshiba and needed an upgrade. A few major events were scheduled to happen and I wanted to make sure I had the best equipment to capture all the great moments.

Exactly The Camcorder I Have Been Looking For

First I had my sister’s college graduation, my cousin’s wedding, our annual go cart derby race in our community and finally my dog, Luna, was about to give birth to a litter of puppies. If edited properly, I could possibly make a movie out of all these images combined. With only two weeks before the first event, I was busy scouring stores and shops for the best camcorder available. I finally found the Panasonic HDC-SD90K. It was exactly what I was looking for.

What I liked about the HDC right away was its hand held, compact size. My Toshiba was a bit larger and would tend to get heavy during long shots. But this was so lightweight I couldn’t even feel the impact of it in my hand. A lighter hand means a steadier hand which equals a more awesome shot. In addition to better handling capabilities, the 28 mm wide angle was a wonderful surprise. I could fit more images, more background and more people in one shot. This will definitely make sure I don’t miss any candid or crazy moments that tend to occur in the background of many footages.

Wider Angle

With a wider angle, I won’t have to do as much panning as I did before. I’m also able to zoom up to 40 times in view and that without losing resolution or clarity in the images. This makes shooting from far distances effortless and is a practical feature especially during big events, e.g. graduations and weddings. I’m pretty sure I’ll be in the nose bleed section when my sister walks across the stage, so the zoom will come in very handy. Now I don’t have to be near the action to get in on it.

1080/60p Recording

Finally the 1080/60p recording is just brilliant. It picks up on the smallest details and every movement and action is smooth and crisp. This, coupled with the intelligent resolution technology, then you pretty much have a perfect replica of live image on screen. The Panasonic HDC-SD90K really captures the beauty of Full HD images. I’ve never seen video reproduced with so much clarity before; my eyes are still getting used to it.
